Furnace Glass Beads

Furnace glass beads, also known as glass cane beads, are made using traditional techniques often reserved for crafting art glass objects. The beads are formed by fusing many small canes of glass into a larger decorated rod. Once the desired colors and designs are achieved, the glass cane is then encased in clear glass and fired in a kiln or furnace and cut into the desired sizes.
